International Ballet Film Festival In collaboration with Dance Films Association & Miami Dade College Miami Beach Premiere! Dance of My Heart Based on the life of renowned Cuban choreographer Alberto Alonso Dance of my Heat is a choreography of the choreographer, a story of passion and longevity in the life of a great artist, Alberto Alonso, still teaching, still learning, still dancing, at the prime even in his 10th decade. The creator of the “Cuban Classical Ballet style and the choreographer of “Carmen” suite is 90 years old, healthy and vibrant, still working every day at a community college in North Central Florida, teaching students how to dance with the same passion and professionalism which defined his life with some of the most important ballet dancers of the 20th century.
